Gorilla on Capitol Hill
Those born after 1982 encompass the largest and most diverse demographic in United States history. What happens when Washington finds that 800 lbs gorilla in the room? If you have a question on something or if you disagree with something I have posted, comment away because that's the idea.

- Two days after graduating from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, I was sitting in an empty apartment in Harlingen Texas, ready to start my first post-grad job. I have worked at several publications - The Athens News, Warren Tribune-Chronicle, The Post at Ohio University - prior to my current job as a crime reporter at the Valley Morning Star. But I had never covered crime. This blog will be used to demonstrate my evolution as a reporter and as a grownup away from Ohio for the first time. I will post clips from my job, essays on topics including but not limited to lifestyle, the National Basketball Association, my puppy Dora and my current clash with culture.
